Comedy Basement This Thursday – 30th September 0

Hello folks!
Once more, I’m going to say apologies for recent cancellations but also that this months Comedy Basement on the 30th September WILL BE GOING AHEAD! Apologies for the lack of communications until now but we’re very pleased to announce the following line up for this coming gig:
RUAIDHRÍ WARD
Ruaidhrí is one of the stand out comedians on the Belfast scene at the moment and we are delighted to have him headline the Comedy Basement for this month. Preparing for his coming solo show as part of the Belfast fringe, this should be a performance not to be missed.
It’s rare you see something as original these days.” – Tony Law. Edinburgh & Beyond, Comedy Cuts, Channel 4’s – Does Doug Know?
Ruaidhrí is one of the most gifted stand-ups on the scene, naturally engaging on stage, great material and killer delivery. If only his name wasn’t so hard to spell he’d go a long way. All those vowels on a poster, madness!” – Joe Lindsay. BBC Radio Ulster. Palookaville DJ’s.
LORCAN MCGRANE
Performing for his first appearance at the Comedy Basement, Lorcan began performing stand up comedy in 2006 and has  has foisted his perversions and Peccadilloes on an unsuspecting public in Belfast, Dublin, Norwich, London, and Edinburgh with surprising success.  If one counts success as making people laugh, rather than parlaying his brand of veiled self-therapy, blasphemy, gauging of audience’s perversity levels, and childhood (and adulthood) existential loneliness into a viable job.
This is, yet again, a show not to be missed at the Comedy Basement! Your guest MC for the evening will be regular MC of the fantastic ‘underground’ Voicebox Comedy, Marcus Keeley.
