Okay, so I’m terribly bad at keeping this website up to date, that’s only because I’m 100% committed to bringing the best of the best to perform at the Comedy Basement and this month’s gig certainly will not dissapoint! (Although, apparently my spelling and grammar does).

There was supposed to be a competition launching online but that will be shelved until after this gig but it is well worth the wait!

Anyway, onto club business! April 30th will see the fourth gig at McHughs as the Comedy Basement rolls its way to fast becomming one of the hottest underground venues for local and international comedy. That’s right, I said international. This month will feature our very first international headline act in the form of the fantastic American comedian ERIC SHANTZ. Supporting Eric will be local looney, George Quinn, and we will be seeing acts from Adam Laughlin, Shane Todd and Stacey Mead.

On top of all that, you will be treated to a guest emcee for the evening, the incredibly energetic Jason O’Neill. The show truely looks like it’s going to be one not to miss!

Sooo, the gorey details. Nothing has changed, the same old! April 30th at McHughs Basement Bar, doors open at 7.30pm and the show will start approx 8.45pm.
